.. I'm from Compton.

Seems as if I always get the same reaction when this question is asked. Of course I don't mind the questions but dude seriously?? For instance I went on one of those carnival cruises with the fam right? and they had this little raffle so I filled out my name I give it 20 times.lol. Any who the guy called my name (YESSSSSS!!) and it being "ethnic" of course he didn't pronounce it right. SO! he asked a couple questions then finally he asked "where are you guys from?" I say "from Compton" I swear every single person that sat there along with us turned and starred _SILENT_ stares. Then he said "Oh is it like in the movies..You all don't look like your from Compton."Ummmmmn WTF does a person from Compton look like?! that right there rubbed me the wrong way typical stereotype from an ignorant hole of an ass. Trust me its not as bad as the movies portray us to be, we all don't slang dope and bang. So,"don't believe the hype" cause when you do, it makes you look dumb in a real big way.
